Celebrity fundraising for events

If you are looking to organise a fundraising event on a grand scale by hiring a celebrity, – be it a famous local artist, a well-known Entrepreneur, a sports figure or else – I have gathered for you few tips to help you reach out these celebrities. However, if this is something you deem too difficult to do, be aware that there are agencies who can do the work for you!

First of all, be aware it has a cost, so try to choose carefully which celebrity you want to invite to your event and find innovative ways to avoid unnecessary additional expenditures.

These articles should give some valuable tips on how to approach any kinds of celebrity:

Secondly, you can also decide to use a crowd fundraising website to raise funds through celebrities and spread the words about it on social networks, like this one:

Thirdly, if you are looking for an Asian star with worldwide reputation, you may want to check the names’ list on this page:

However, you may opt to outsource the celebrity search to an agency like CTI and AAT:

Finally, if after weighting all the pros and cons of bringing a celebrity to your event, you realise this project idea is beyond your budget, you may simply want to sell off some of our celebrities belongings or look for other innovative fundraising events ideas. If that’s the case, I recommend you to check out this link:

Korean-Irish culture night featuring Jinjo breakdance crew and Queen Korean traditional music group

For those who haven’t been able to attend this night, to mark the 30th anniversary of Korea-Ireland diplomatic ties, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in association with Dublin City Council and DIT Conservatory of Music and Dram have organised an evening of lively music and dance.

I have been amongst the lucky ones to get a ticket to view the performances.
